time for a change
« on: September 14, 2014, 09:14:01 am »
Just had a few months in spain  to get away from from it all and give the Mrs  and kids a break after a hard year
have had a family bereveament moving house and a few other issues that needed sorting
Before we went slimmed down the round and sold of the dross so i was working 3  long days giving me a much better work life balance
A friend looked after my round with no issues
come back last week and working area have moved into the  new house all nice but its in the next town along a fair distance from my current
came to the decision to sell up and start round in the town where i live now very compact and limit the travelling
Looking foward to a new challange
Dont I hink the area is saturated with windies and a quick search on the net doesn't  bring that many up
getting flyers printed next week and advertising in a few local mags over the next few months and the daughter is setting up the social media and Web presence which I've never had before
she was also looking for a part time job whilst at college so now i have a canvasser
starting monday see how it goes

Stand before my gates and be judged

Sensible move - if you think of all the hours that you would have wasted every year travelling back & forth - you can invest some of that time in building your new business and have more family time too,.. it'll be hard work getting started again, but worth the effort in the long run!

why not franchise the current work out to your friend who has been running your business whilst you were away and look to build your own work in your new town

I would lease the other round. Even if you get a £500 a month, its a nice chunk :)

The options where there but I preferred a clean break otherwise there may have been the hassle of dealing with custies of both rounds issues with money collection and so  on
looking foward to a new start
