I'm looking at adding wfp to our cleaning buisness which we do pressure washing, gutter clearing and carpet cleaning as well as commercial and domestic cleaning I have already bought a water tank new off ebay it's a 200 ltr baffled tank that sits over wheel arch problem is I only have £300 to set it up! And have work coming in for it! I don want a real rubbish set up and I don't mind adding to it at a later date but not sure what to choose ie pump, filters, reel , poles and brushes and all the other bits and bobs any advise would be great.

£300 won't go very far unless you buy used gear.

I think your assumption of just how much expense is involved in cleaning windows using purified water is about the same as some of my, ahem, 'less knowledgeable', customers!.

Maybe you should have looked into what was involved before taking in the work, because for £300 i very much doubt you could even stretch to a 'rubbish' setup, even buying used!.

Yip, with £300 you should be able to get a pole.

That's a bout it.

Your best bet is to trawl eBay for used gear if that's the budget you have. Even then your going to struggle.

To get a reasonable DIY set up your looking at about £1000 realistically.

I was lucky and got a complete 400l system for £300  
But then had to splash out on new poles.

I'm in Sussex same as you,therefore you will need an ro that's £200 gone out of your pot.
I agree with the others £300 won't get you any where near being set up.

Jamie, I don't mean to judge but, with all those other businesses why do you not have £300.
Did you start the pressure washing business on such an unreal budget.
I would wait and save some more capital or get a business loan, if as you say the work is coming in.

No I spent £6000 with Omnipole on gutter vac etc and pressure washing gear also spent £2000 on a second hand ashby ninja 400psi so still setting up but buying a house that needs full renovating this week so funds are very tight at the moment been thinking off buying a pole and back pack from gardiners and try and buy some water of a local window cleaner until I can buy all the rest.

I'd stick what you know for now. Make some money and then go WFP on a realistic budget.

If that's the case then I'm not really sure what makes you think £300 will get you a decent set up. You should have spent some of that £6000 on a WFP system too. £6000 is overkill for gutter vacs in my opinion.

As is said above wait untill you've got about £1000 and then go into window cleaning.
