If you are prone to rsi you could use a pole half the weight of the extreme
and the repetitive nature of the work would still nail you,typists get it and people
who click on a mouse all day are prone to it and carry no weight.
Your own physical condition or the lack of it will have a greater effect on you
getting rsi, strengthening your core your posture and how you use the weapon of
your choice when working are bigger considerations than the incremental difference
in pole weights.
Obviously if you are using a 25ft universal pole all day everyday you are going
to end up shattered
but some physical extertion is good for you.
