My main business is window cleaning, but I get asked quite a bit to do fascia cleaning which I find is hard work with water fed pole, so I was going to get a cheap pressure washer and try cleaning fascia this way.
Found this petrol pressure washer on ebay, anybody tried these before, any good for what I need one for or a waste of money?
Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

If your only using it for soffit fascia gutters then for the price you can't really go wrong, how long it lasts is another question, and you will need a telescopic lance.

IMHO - you can't beat water fed pole for cleaning SFG it's does a far better job, less mess and the equipment is easier to handle than PW ing

I know some on the window cleaning forum PW but I can tell you now if you PW SFG then WFP a section you will see how poor the PW finish is, but hey, it's just some advice on my experiences

I know wfp does a good job on fsg cleans as I've done loads, but I have a shoulder problem and find that this type of cleaning really aggravates the injury, so I just wanted to give it a go with a pw to see if it came up ok and see if I could do the job without aggravating the shoulder.
I think I will get one and give it a go, I'll only need to do a couple to get my money back so got to be worth it.
If it works out good for me I can always upgrade to a more robust one.

If a water fed pole aggravates your shoulder the PW lance will most likely damage it for good, they are heavy and difficult to operate up in the air.

Same yourself the aggro and stick with water fed pole

That looks very similar to my first machine which blew a hole in the side of the engine halfway through my first patio job, if you struggle with wfp wait till you try a telescopic lance lol, I'm a big chap and can only manage it for a few minutes before having to put it down.

If its solely for fascias then I'll be fine. If you apply tfr to fascias first and then pressure wash off you will get a great result and as good as wfp. Just walk around and touch up any bits you miss with your wfp brush.

With a lot of the yellow extending lances you can get a harness set up, that comfortably goes round the waist and some have, like a brace, that goes over the shoulders.

The lance then pivots off the hip. The hip takes the weight.

There is no reason for this to be overtly strenuous,

I don't use one because I hold a lot of extending lances.

One of ours is the Power pole and that extends to ten metres.
