releasit Hydrox
« on: August 25, 2014, 11:48:22 am »
Dont know if anyone has tried Hydrox on blood ?
I had a call back last week about a job I did in chester le street, one of the carpets had an old blood stain on it, it wasn't a lot but it took some shifting ! I initially used enzall that had been left to go cold, but unfortunately the stain came back, very slightly but back all the same
I spotted it with hydrox at 2 to 1 and it disapeared instantly,  it may of gone with another go with enzall as I said it was only very slight, but will keep Hydrox as a problem solver for future cleans

blood will always spot back, i always price in for a revisit if its more than spot

by the way Stuart, i know you are experimenting a lot with encaps - whats your favourite so far?

i want to use them more but find crystallizing shampoo type products cheaper and give a better 'clean' than encaps i have tried but i know the chemistry of encaps mean they are better for the carpet after the clean

Ds2 is by far the most economical, the hydrox is exellent on tea and coffee stains and proteins and as I said blood on the other thread, Dynam is probably top of the tree mixes at 30 to 1 only costs £27 plus vat so is probably the best in all, althouhh works better on stains mixed at 20 to 1 , Chemspec 161 is good but a bit soapy, Rotabrite 2 is also quite good but only mixes at 10 to 1 but is very cheap at under £20 a gallon , I have a galoon of the revive it confidence but haven't tried it yet ! Got a good few comercial maintenance jobs in september
