So we have gone from 4 litres doing 2/3 roofs to 16 litres to do this one roof...Smudger be careful. From my experience (which is sadly lacking compared to roof Tony and Kevin) you will get around 4/5 m per litre on this type of substrate.Get yourself a tile and a sample of the product from Kev and test it yourself.Kevin and Tony are reading labels and guessing.
Thanks Tony Hopefully the customer will give me a yesDarran
Ok assuming I am talking out of my sphincter .Question 1 . Kevin/tony how would you suggest we apply this to the roof assuming at the worst we are aiming for 12 metres per litre (Tonys worst case scenario figures) disregarding your initial estimation of around 75 sqm per litre ?
Sealed A LOT of slate with less than a gallon of miracle on Wednesday. It does go quite a long way, apprehensive at first but would use it again.
Yes I know Chris I wouldn't compare the two, IMO I wouldn't seal the roof unless they paid A LOT of money.I applied it via roller in small sections and then went over with a microfibre cloth to wipe up the excess. Went back tonight to see how it looked after heavy rain and it looks good. Few small areas that have excess on which I'm not to happy with because I went over meticulously wiping up the excess so can't explain it.It's on a few ridges on the tile, how can I remove these Kev?
