yep i wish to see the ultrafire :)
comparing any better one not the urine finder would give you more "customers"
if you want people to buy then you need to prove is worth the 100
thanks any way

Russ, with all respect, you love to "waste your time" making videos, so it should not be a problem, problem would be buying another torch what I could understand then.
Would love to buy your stuff but can't spend extra 100 for nothing, for a bit better performance if any.
Thanks

No Radak what I meant was i could make the most entertaining video demonstrating a handful of cheaper alternatives to my torch... But I would be wasting my time because you and a handful of others on here are not looking to buy it all the time you can source one for a tenner.
I have sold nearly 40 torches and have never had a return or any complaints, in fact Billy Russell called me the other day to tell me his torch had potentially earned him a very tidy sum for the detection and removal of urine in a very large house.
I would encourage you to buy from eBay if your budget is limited, my torches are not for everyone.

That's not really proof that you need the £100+ torch though. The cheaper torch could have detected it, its the sales skills that got the price not the torch.

You are right Dawg, a £20 torch would probably work but you would have to close all the curtains, turn off all the lights and work closer to the carpet.
Bit like comparing an Aquarius Pro valet  with let's say an Alltec express... Both do the same job but one just does it better due to the design and the components used...
I have experimented with alternative components and the quality just isn't good, contact springs breaking off the back of the LED module, batteries refusing to charge, chargers not charging batteries, poor quality reflectors resulting in a poor beam pattern... The ultra fire torch body has been copied to death and most of what you see on eBay are all fakes.

I don't think anyone's criticised your torches Russ but you've attempted to ridicule anyone who's not prepared to buy one. You made comments about people's character on a Facebook topic the other day on The TACCA page.
Is it really that important to you that some of us who want to dip our toe in the water
with regards to uv torches, shop elsewhere for a cheap torch (which actually works).
why so prickly? Nobody's questioned your character but you've called people cheap carpet cleaners and cheapskates etc etc.
Get over it man.
And all of your friends that have jumped in to champion your torches and character - you owe em a pint.

Well I must admit my question was Market Research as I had stared a topic on UV torches  Niche  and torches in General on Wholesale-Help on Face Book which I am an administrator and the First Most Helpful Member. and Owner of the Tea Shirt    I was amazed how many are being sold  at different prices and on the surface they all appeared the same and you could buy them for £2 from China.

So Russ I offer you sincere apologies for upsetting you but I hope you have sold a few torches as result  and yours is clearly a superior product

Your question was totally valid Ian, everyone will have a different opinion and that's what makes a good forum... For us to discuss and debate.
It makes absolutely no difference to me whether people buy a cheap £10 torch or one of mine, if it works for them... Good luck.
We all buy equipment, good and bad and that's how we learn. When I was researching the torches I made several bad purchases of cheap components which were unreliable and failed to perform as I wanted.
With much experimenting I managed to find the right components which resulted in a good torch which has resulted in many carpet cleaners to expand their services to include pet urine detection.

Russ  While on the Subject of Urine which product do you think is best to deal with it.

I found one at Crufts and I think I saw it advertised in Cleaning matters this s  morning. When i first started I used one  from Prochem but I never got along with it
