Genuinely though, the van looks fine to me.

No. It isn't.
If it were, you'd've sold it by now.

Are you looking for newish van?
If not why are you poo pooing what looks like a decent van for decent money?
A Van like most things is only worth what you are willing to pay for it.
I just dont understand people on here finding negatives all the time..
As for the fumes, im sure he does not operate it with the doors closed

The only thing i will agree on is that you should never carry a 1000ltrs of water in a van which is not baffled..... Not even sure if the payload would carry that. not that i know for sure.

previously worked driving hgv's carrying dangerous goods including 1000L IBC's which were strapped to vehicle. They may not be baffled and the driver must drive accordingly. So if it's within vehicle capacity then it's down to driver capability whether or not they want to transport it.

Finally. Someone who actually knows that they're talking about and a real life experience.

Weight wise, it'll be tight. Probably just in allowing the 5%.

The van looks clean and tidy but it is a  2007, with 122,000miles , the plus side is 12mths tax & mot with full s/h. there are lots of trafs with the same same spec  for sale at £3000-£3500.

No filters or RO .....the reels are £40 new + hose so £80 for the two,  IBC..£40, 2x used clx £120-150  the heater is £200 new so £120, pump £30, water proofing/ checker plate £150

At 7k it it is over priced, I value it all at about 4k-4.2k any more I wouldn't feel like I was on right side of the deal.

That's Interesting Alan, Thanks for correcting me.
I presume when you transported them they were full of liquid though? I personally would not be happy to drive a static non baffled tank around that is half full of water! the water would be smashing about everywhere, especially tuning corners.

Exactly, plus a van loaded to its limit would be a lot less stable than a HGV.
You have not been corrected your first post was excellent advice.
