What do you use yours for?
« on: July 28, 2014, 11:29:27 pm »
Hi
I'm thinking of buying a telescopic lance. Are they suitable for S/F/G or should I stick to a WFP.
If you use one - what for? Walls, Roof's, cladding?
Is it worth paying out for a 7m or go for a 5m?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Andy

A 7m telescopic lance is useless....the 5m is very handy!

I use the 5m one but when ready I'm changing to the 7 metre one. The twist type grips on those lances are a real pain though !

It's too heavy/ unwieldy  to use for any length of time...and it gets whiplash when you put any pressure through it.

I recently bought the newer type with the lever clamps and that was total poope - still using the old twist clamp pole now. The new one bends under its own weight let alone fire the pump up
