Stuck indoors...
« on: July 25, 2014, 03:11:02 pm »
Hi All,

I've had a boring couple of days stuck indoors.

I cut my left hand index finger very deeply yesterday morning at my unit trying to cut a cable tie with a window cleaning scraper (don't ask!)... I went to the hospital straight away and they cleaned it up and dressed it etc.. but I was advised not to work again until Monday because if I split it anymore then I will need stitches.

I feel like a pansy sitting in doors with "just" a cut finger, and I'm so bored now.

What do you get up to when your stuck indoors and can't work?

Andy  ;)

I'd of asked to have it stiched up then wrapped it up and gone back to work, only a cut finger ? What are you a man or a mouse !!!!!lol!!!!

Tosh being in the forces sometime ago would have stiched it himself and gone back to work Andy !!!! 👍

I practise my cable-tie cutting techniques.

read a book

watch a film

chase up electronic payments/check bank balance

order some spares/new equipment online

book a holiday

re schedule work for next week

I'm on my forth week on the sick and going for surgery on Wed.
Id say I wont be back on the glass for a couple of weeks yet, that's if I have any round to go back to.
Iv spent most of my time annoying people on here and watching daytime T.V.
