I run Pirelli's in summer on the car, Michelin's in Winter.
And Goodyear all year round on the van.
Have done for 6 or 7 years now.
Goodyears are cheaper than 'top end' tyres but I've found them the best, on balance.
I ran Continentals before, car and van, and they were undoubtedly the best I've ever ran but the speed they needed replacing didn't justify the cost.
Goodyears on the van, I'm getting near on 40k. Conti's-half that.

You got a puncture and so you need a new tyre ?  ???
punctures can be fixed, or has the tyre just fallen to bits and lost all its tread as a result of the puncture ?  ;D

I've no idea as to tyre size of a primestar but I have a peugeot expert and buy budget commercial treads for mine, about £65 each, don't see point in spending more, its a workhorse not a performance thoroughbred.

Wouldnt post such a thing,i use an estate and i have family
members in at times,i would use budget tyres though as  cover
very little mileage in this vehicle.

Tyres have come right down in price. You can pick up 22's for less than a £100 posted to your door. Then in what £10 to fit. Good budgets are £130
Then high end still start at £150.

When I was running fast cars I used to spend around £240 a corner on mitchellin sport
Tyres. They were 18s.

With china well into the tyre scene it's a buyers market.

I pay about £100.  My last one was £95.  I'm having a new one on Friday as nearly worn.  That will be £95 too.  That's all in (includes supply, fit and vat).
