Compact work, how many of these?
« on: July 19, 2014, 07:50:48 pm »
On another post, someone said they could do something like 30 houses a day by themselfs.

So how many of these, by yourself do you reckon you can knock out in a day?

I was getting at the fact that there detached, and not just 2 up 2 down type houses.

Yeah. 30. If in a fair distance of each other. Definitely if all on the same estate.

Because to get round the back you need to climb over the fence on the right, where the pointer and telescopic ladders are... thus requiring a substancial amount of hose.

depends what is on the back ,but modern builds are a doddle.iI cleaned
eight similar properties to this in 21/2 hours on thursday.

If all my work was like this i would enjoy a nice stroll through the day
and clean 20

See, plum job Bob is 78 years of age, has arthritis in both arms, a wooden leg and is blind in one eye.
If he can do 20, every normal person should bosh out 30 easily.

Yip, about 20-30 if all compact.

They get priced at about £8 in my area. £12 with a Conservatory.

Really?

I would charge at least £20 - probably £22.

But I would take my time and do a good job. It's not about how many you can do in a day it's about doing a good job and building a reliable customer base.

I've picked up a lot of work recently from other WFP cleaners because they aren't cleaning properly - they are probably just rushing through.

Also.  I would hate to be in the same place all day cleaning the same type of house - I like variety.

Andy 😊

I'd rather not do too many. Tediously boring a day full of them thanks very much.
