What do you pay for kiln dried sand?
« on: July 16, 2014, 08:13:40 pm »
Hello,

Seem to be spending a fortune on kiln dried sand, from wickes @ £4.10 or something when you buy 10.

Does anyone get it cheaper?

Regards

£3.50, as a regular client to a local builders merchants. We charge the custy £10 a bag. Bear in mind we have to go and get it etc. if they don't wanna pay £10 a. Ag I tell them to sand it themselves or buy it themselves.

I use wickes sand
I buy it in 10 and store it in my lock up. When I get low I'll get more.
I don't mind the price because I love the colour of the sand.

The forum clock is wrong. Its an hour slow. But i was up early  ;D 4:30am for some city center graffiti removal then had to be onsite straight after at the BBC to clean some marquees before anyone else got there.
