They are a nightmare mine has been stuck solid for a year and I have to unscrew the socket from the brush each time I buy a new brush .

You need resi necks  for  each brush otherwise you got no hope . Had to use a vice to get resi neck out of pole to fit scraper . Mike

Hi Mike

I think that you are describing a slightly different issue to Avo - you are referring to the Resi-Neck shaft becoming stuck in the pole? We do have this happen occasionally to a few clients and if you email us with your purchase date and the item causing issue we can replace the base part of the Resi-Neck for you.

If you are having difficulty removing the old resi-neck before replacing with the new part then email me and I can advise how best to remove the stuck item.

Can you tell us here Alex, that way we are all sorted  :) The only way I've managed it alone is to use a pair of molegrips.

Here is the method I have used on the odd occasion that a client has dropped a stuck one off to me.

1. Take to pieces the Resi-neck so that just the base part is in the pole.
2. Put an adjustable spanner on the flat circular part as in the photo attached.
3. The holding the top section of the pole twist the Resi-neck with the spanner.
4. If the Resi-neck is very tight you may need to get someone else top hold the top section as well.
5. Continue twisting and then apply outward pressure whilst twisting to slowly 'wind' the part free.

Hope this helps.

As soon as you have got it free then replace with a new Resi-neck base.

Thanks Alex :)
