My guess is it clips in to section 1 then as you extend the pole you hose disappears up there as normal. Fixed hose from the brush to the bottom of section 1. You clip your hose in when the pole is collapsed, extend the pole as normal.

My question is what happens if the rectus connector inside the pole goes naff, can it be replaced and if so, how?

It'll just be a pole. Take it to bits, remove and replace any defective parts.

It will not wear has it is Stainless steel.

Even if it did i sell them for £5, and easy to change.

Section 1 will have a rigid tube up the centre which as soupy says will extend with the pole taking the pole hose with it.

Pole king - I use o rings on my gardiner poles it does help stop the 'bang' when closing the section

We as a company are not interested in gardiner poles or any other infact, what so ever, Ex-ceed innovation is the company name not the poles.   the poles are coded "5018" for example.
we have carbon far superior than any of our competitors, the clamps are better the any clamp available at present.
It has a locking force 60 kg we are more than confident in our product.

Can you imagine the top boy at Audi saying  'we are not interested in what Mercedes are doing'?

What makes your carbon 'superior'?

Alex has said that the carbon used in the xtreme is the same carbon used on La Ferrari.
No one has proved him wrong, yet.
Can't imagine Ferrari having the option of 'higher grade' carbon and declining. And I'd imagine they 'spare no expense'

Not really Paul, I realise that it's just a sly dig at steven 1 but the pole is going to be in the same market place as all the other pole manufacturers. Not a large market place either.

too heavy, i am out! would keep my xtreme 25

This was my reply when i was asked the weight of my pole, and the question was how heavy is my 22ft pole, i said 1320grm, but i was not comparing it to a extreme, but i do have a super duper light pole that is just as light as extreme.

100 grams heavier than an SLX is a big difference really liking not having to coil pole hose but on weight i am out , Shoulders have been aching most days lately so i now take a section of my SLX that i dont need all the time . Mike

I honestly wouldn't mind a extra few grams of weight if the pole is more rigid.
At this moment in time the SLX is the best pole in the market at that price range but
it could be improved.
As a person who has never been a fan of the Gardiner smart clamp the Exceed pole has certainly got my
attention.

when will specs be available and the poles be on sale,you are in
kidderminster which is local to myself,i imagine you have a trade
counter,im looking for a 25-27 foot pole and i tend to prefer seeing
what im buying before i open my moth riddled wallet.
