Such a list would be far too long, as the 'ideal van' would depend on the specific requirements of the operator. There are some who use things like lwb high roof renault master's. But that is way, way too big for my needs. Others favour the double cab pickup, again, too cumbersome for my liking. My ideal van would be as small and maneuverable as possible, while still having a payload big enough that i could realistically fit a 500l tank into.
I may well consider the DFSK pickup when the time comes to change. It is very small, very narrow, has excellent steering lock, is very simple mechanically, and has a 900kg payload.
