All depends on your model and year the new shape has a 1000kg and 1200kg payload.
Old shape I think had a 900kg payload.
1lt of water = 1kg of weight.
I have a Dispatch small wheelbase (which is the same van) with a 650lt tank.

I've got 61 plate l1h1 2.0 hdi 500l tank I'm well within the payload inc of poles and hose,and it's pulls that weight easy

This is not correct, the 1600 is available with either 1000kg or 1200kg, and as a swb, lwb or lwb high roof.

L1 H1 is 1000kg (swb)
L2 H1&H2 is 1000kg (lwb/lwb hitop)

Engine doesnt matter as the 2.0 6 speed is an optional extra, the 1600 is more than capable not massively quick loaded but you shouldn't be throwing it around like that anyway ;-)

With a 1000kg you'll need to watch every extra bit of weight you may want to carry with two guys and a 650 tank, I have this and it works very well but if you can get the lwb it'd be worth having the spare 200kg.

Great van though will be buying more of them :-) Oh if you can get one (used) from a Citroën or Peugeot main dealer you get a years guarantee parts and labour definitely worth it as they have greater movement in price than smaller private dealers...

Because it goes from thousands to many thousands plus if your going to clone a vehicle then its
better to clone one that your not likely to meet along the road.
The chances of your vehicle being cloned from showing your reg. online would be very slim but why take the chance.

Such a list would be far too long, as the 'ideal van' would depend on the specific requirements of the operator. There are some who use things like lwb high roof renault master's. But that is way, way too big for my needs. Others favour the double cab pickup, again, too cumbersome for my liking. My ideal van would be as small and maneuverable as possible, while still having a payload big enough that i could realistically fit a 500l tank into.

I may well consider the DFSK pickup when the time comes to change. It is very small, very narrow, has excellent steering lock, is very simple mechanically, and has a 900kg payload.
