Any sprayer will be ok until it fails but the thing is can you buy spares for it ? I have the solo but also gloria's for carpets and hypo. Try these people as they carry parts for the products they sellhttp://www.solosprayers.co.uk/index.phpWe stock a wide range of sprayers for many different purposes including Horticultural, Agricultural and Industrial use. We have a sprayer for every job in the garden, on the farm, and for construction and industry. The service provided by us is second to none. Spare parts are always available from us and sprayers can be sent back to be serviced.
Solo's for caustic and bleach ...due to none metalic construction. Glorias for anything else. I have used the Glorias for years with very few problems. The make you cry when paying for them ...but work out very cheap in the long run.

I think the Solo is actually a better sprayer ( and cheaper) although most would disagree
You probably filled it then put it on before you pumped it up - the vent needs pressure to close, you need to pressurise it before putting it on. I use a stainless gloria for hypo and never use the sling, the solo I use for weed killer. Keep an eye on e bay for cheap ones - I have 3 - hypo, carpets, pest controlMy mate got banned from Screwfix ! They kept telling him they were not a dating agency
