Help with hard to start gx200
«

Hi, I have a gx200 power washer and its impossible to start it without full choke even when the engine is warm. Also I'm starting to get occasional back fires now and again when l try and start the engine.
Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers

Before the back firing, I had a new carb fitted to try and solve the choke issue but failed also cleaned the tank out.

OK then if its not a lack of fuel then its an excess of air - did you fit the carb correctly with new gaskets ? was it fitted with the correct main jet ?

So if it went to a shop with a fault and has still got the fault then take it back to them and tell them. If it needs choke when warm then something is wrong

Last time they had it for over a week, I thought I might be able to fix it myself if someone had an idea what might be wrong with it. Might be worth buying a new engine and saving myself the headache.
