You can call it an expense an reduce your profit. If you were to say you had £2k expenses it doesn't save you £2k in tax.

Can I setup a personal account and just re-name it as my business name and pay them into that and then transfer to my business?

Another idea I had was getting the guy who works for me to setup an account and name it and I give all cheques to him as his wages, that way my turnover stays lower so pay less VAT and I save a small fortune on bank charges. He is self employed and has other means of income so I don't need to employ him.

I feel i have been screwed by them. I am not changing accounts as all printed slips have these details PLUS i would need to tell people about the change.

I am on mixed payments as i still get quite a few cheques. The customer who pay via cheque will be noted and told about no cheque policy soon.

My plan is to go on the same plan as you as i am on mixed at the moment. Then take card payments for customers who only want to send cheques. As long as the payment is less than £50 it will be cheaper for me to take a card payment

I am also banking cash in my private account then transferring it over to business and logging all the transfers doing the same with PP here money!

That may been as sailing too close to the wind by HRMC bud.
I think they'd want to class it as your turnover.

natwest also do an account with a straight £25 a month charge no matter what or how much you pay in.

I used to have that account. But it does not work if you are LTD. Unfortunately

Not sure if your trying to show off I think you should phone up some banks or look online to see what the charges are. Tut wouldn't bother getting out of bed for that meezley ammount !!!!!

I would say join my bank, but it's a minimum of 1 million in your account O well keep at it pmsl !!!!!

On another note it's not bad lil turn over so why worry about the small bank charges 👳👳👳

It was a simple question because I do not agree with the bank charges. At the end of the day, they are using my money every month, so why do they charge me extra? They should give ME money not to put my money somewhere else.
