Email to schools
« on: June 29, 2014, 05:31:25 pm »
Thinking about sending an email to some schools in my area as the 6 week break is nearly upon us.

Has anyone got a similar email I could look at? Just to get some ideas floating about my head as it has went blank and everything I start writing seems to sound stupid

Also has anyone done this before? If so what were the results like?

I get great result from emails and letters. Either hire someone to write it or study.

I have something made up, if someone who deals with commercial clients on a regular basis wouldn't mind having a quick read, please leave an email and I'll forward it over. thanks

Not to put a downer on you bud but id think the schools are sorted by now.
All the schools/college that i do had their paperwork to me about a month ago.

Not true. Loads os schools are now turning into academy's. This means the government/council no longer say who does what. The schools now find who they want and what to pay. No strings like they have to have this and that. Ace for 1 man bands

I don't mean that. I mean that they're off in  weeks and have sorted their schedule of works already. Academy or not.

Not true in all cases. I viewed a school on Friday last week following an out-of-the-blue phone call from their Caretaker on the Wednesday asking for a quote for internal and external clean. Put my quote in on Sunday night, got the purchase order on Monday Morning just gone booking me in for that 6 week period.

Go for it. Don't pay someone to knock it up for you - put what you THINK you should put in and see what happens.

Hope you get some decent results.

The Schools have been the decision makers for a longtime now not the councils . Mike

A purchase order after production of RAMS and insurances.
Get a call/email from the smaller jobs but anything over about a grand is purchase orders...
