Anyone experiencing this when quoting for new work? I have had two examples this week, almost identical.
Quote the job via email enquiry, £20 every six weeks, she replies how about £10 every twelve weeks? I didn't bother replying and then the same thing two days later.

I just reply, "Sorry, I don't haggle!"

I don't mind a bit of haggling.
I price high enough for it not to usually matter.
It also builds a bit of a rapport with the customer.
They think they've got a better deal, which they have.
But in the grand scheme-it doesn't matter.
And you can usually throw a 'if you make me a decent coffee and a bit if cake, we'll call it a deal'
Even if you lose a few quid, the positivity gained from it can be worth it.
Obviously I don't mean cleaning an 85 bed mansion for £4.59 but, within reason, a lil' haggle doesn't bother me at all.

Haggle? It's a service, not a Turkish bazaar. Never done it.

My reply would have been "please don't take offence but if you have to haggle over a small amount of money then we are not the cleaning company for you" ............... only ever haggled once and the customer was a real messer.

Experience has taught me not to get involved with hagglers.  If I don't join in with the haggling but get the job anyway, theyt are always on the look out for extra little freebies to "get their moneysworth.  If I give in and start doing the job for their price, I get resentful after a while - and that feels uncomfortable.  The only time I might consider it is possibly giving them £x off on maybe the 4th clean - as a one off, never to be repeated discount. That way, if they cancel after the 4th clean, at least I've made some reasonable money from it.  However, by that time hopefully they have realised that I'm not some bob-a-job fly-by-night and the arrangement continues without hassle.

supposes it depends if u need the work and if its profitable, use them until you dont need them anymore and dump em
