Using Hypo For The First Time
« on: June 24, 2014, 10:08:03 am »
Ive been messing about in my garden with Hypo as i wanted to get used to it before i use it on a job tomorow i added  some fairy liquid to the water in my pump up sprayer and then added the Hypo so it would be more soapy it seems to work great on concrete slabs but as ive never used it before not sure if the fairy liquid would make it any better or worse or is it a bad idea all together.

Fairy liquid acts as a surfactant, keeping the hypo on the surface of the concrete/block paving for longer. Dont add too much or you will be knee deep in bubbles.

It wont make any difference to the cleaning power of the hypo.

Don't hold me to this I think people use johnsons baby oil or fairy liquid when using hypo on walls as like previous post said it clings to surfaces better. If it's being used in a flat surface don't think there is any need to add fairy liquid etc etc, don't hold me to it let someone clarify if I'm correct first.
