I'm using the extremes and find them great. I'd agree that they feel like they're not doing much, i think thats the idea of them, really easy to use. I'd also agree that for heavy soiling, 1st cleans, heavy scrubbing on UPVC they probably aint your first choice.
  I've got what i think is one of the early extremes, its a monofilament brush, quite tough and has great scrubbing power, and still the low weight of the extremes. I am looking to get another one, Gardiners don't seem to sell them anymore. Anyone seen one or got one ?

Just switched over from Grafter 28ft to SLX 18 Gardner Pole.  Only wish I did 6 months ago ! makes job so much more comfortable on my aging body!!

We are working on several different new brushes and a mono-trim Xtreme may be one of them. We find though that in general most prefer a dual-trim as it splays better on the glass.

Gave my dad a full trim sill brush with fan jets to do a FSG clean. He didn't want to give it back!

what about doing a brush where it as little brushes on the side or even bend up the side edges a little , this will help stop it banging on the side of the pvc frames when cleaning fast ??

ive took on some work where the sills are marked to death via the plastic the hold the brisels rubbing along the sill

or do you already do a brush like this ??

Any idea when any new brushes might appear Alex? I nearly bought one the other day but might wait.

I think i've tried nearly every one of Gardiner's brushes...that's just wrong isn't it 
I bought the Extreme flocked the other day "smooth as silk gently whispering over the thigh of a tender maiden"...
Naturally...connie roof cleans are a different ball game!
Extreme sill brush please Alex; if you could get it down to about 160 grams that would be cool.
