What is a portable service anyway?  I mean, what is there to do?

Is it like a 'British Gas' routine boiler service, check it's still hanging on the wall, drink your tea, take your money and that's it?

Thanks David and Luc.

David - Like all of us when we have done too many hours work, a little TLC is needed and my machine is in need of that and a few replacement components. I would suggest you cancel your British Gas service agreement.....will save you some dosh and a tea bag  ;D

Terry, what kind of porty do you have?

Have you ever looked under the hood? its not that complicated, you could do the repairs yourself and save money and would get you on the road a lot quicker.
