Good idea but I've already failed  :(.
It's been better than the last one already. I'm watching Australia and Chile both going for it.

Yes, it was a fantastic goal. I was watching the rugby, as well, and kept flicking over. Every time I put the football back on Holland had scored another. I never saw that coming  :o.
There's more goals in Chile, I reckon.

My goal for the month is to watch none of the games and avoid all of it as much as possible.  ;D

My missus is pee'd off as Corri has been cancelled or moved and a happy wife is a happy life for a bloke so therefore the opposite is true.  :(

Am I the only bloke who cant stand anything to do with football ??

I don't mind the game, it's everything that goes along with it winds me up.

The adverts, the pundits, garry effing linaker , the posts on forums, sweepstakes, special "world cup" offers in shops bars and restaurants, Frank bloody Skinner singing on the radio,  Adrian fat face childs, the opening ceremony, the closing ceremony, inane Facebook posts: "wow what a goal" indeed, Alan numpty face shearer, voo voo zelas or whatever the f*** you call them,

I could go on but I'm annoying myself now.

And women (and kids?) going out to watch the game, kitted out in their colours, shouting and screaming and getting in the way and not knowing what's going on on the pitch, anyway.
Italia '90 was great-football blokes watching, the music and drug scene, as well. Euro '96 was still good but it went downhill after that.
AMF.

For any novices, I'd recommend taking in the Ivory Coast and Japan game.
2 o'clock kick off Sunday morning. If you don't fancy it, go and clean your van.

Did you watch the rugby onion, this morning.

I'm going away for a couple of nights- only Blackpool- so the late kick off might mean a get a late pass for the hotel bar to watch the game.

Not by me ...

Me too. Not even that much.

What's the difference between football and rugby?

Football = 90 minutes pretending you are hurt.
Rugby = 80 minutes pretending you're not hurt.

It's a game of three halves!
