gardiners backpack pressure switch
« on: June 11, 2014, 06:28:18 pm »
Hi. Looks like my pressure switch has gone. Where can I get a new pressure switch for my Gardiners backpack. Its say on the pressure switch/pump the manufacturer is called kobolt? Any ideas?

Backpacks have smaller pumps you will just have to buy a pump for back pack the switches are not worth changing on those pumps

Can't see a pressure switch on Gardiners website.

So it looks like a new pump then :(

We do not sell the pressure switches on their own as we are not able to buy them in separately.

What is the issue with your pump and how old is it? We have not had a pressure switch go before on these.

Hi Alex
my son uses it,  he says that it pumps fine,  but it won'tstart again after shutting the push fit valve until you give the backpack a nudge.
Flow is fine.
I've checked the connections, just thought it might be the pressure switch

It may be the pressure switch sticking slightly.

On the side of the base of the backpack is a hole and behind this is the pressure switch adjusting screw. It would be worth adjusting this slightly in an anti clockwise direction and see if this makes any difference.
