conservatory clean!!!
« on: March 31, 2006, 06:29:02 pm »
did this conservatory clean today...could not get hold of a conservatory ladder so used painters tresles and a scaffold board...tough job but pretty nice day, well paid and I KNOW I could have halved the time with a proper ladder but they are £400+...
Only used WFP as a final wash down and rinse, the rest of it was done with pvc cleaner, mop on extension pole, sponge/scourer and hose pipe connected to outside tap.
Definitely a market out there...MUST get a ladder...anyone got one for sale??

Steve

You can hire them from http://www.hss.co.uk/g/87101/Conservatory_Roof_Access_System.html

It might be worth while if you have a couple to do in a week Plus the time you will save might offset the cost.

Just a thought

I did get a hire price yesterday afternoon...£20 a day plus VAT!!!
Fantastic...but they have such little demand for them, they only have 1 and it takes 2 days to order in!!

I'm going to bookmark this page and use it to remind Roger (Squeaky) what a cracking job you can do with a WFP in the right hands; when he starts going on about 'spotting machines'.

Tosh, I never said it doesn't do plastics well, of course it does.
I couldn't match that.
I can just do glass better that's all.... ;)

i use the conservatory ladders, mine cost £480 with delivery from ladders999,great tool to have,i did over forty conservatory cleans last summer and i charge between £55-£75 a clean, takes about 2 hours to clean, will be easy this summer as i now have wfp and will only take about 1 hour, use gg4 and big sponge to clean the plastic, comes up like new.
