Women & poles.
« on: June 09, 2014, 02:59:21 pm »
Ok, my wife may well be going out to work with me for a couple of 1/2 days a week as a stopgap before employing. The original plan was that when I get to just about where I am now or just a little bit further I would employ/franchise. However, she for a few reasons is very likely to be stopping work. That means that realistically the drop in income when I employ will be too great if she isn't working..... so in the interim she will do a few hours a week. So.....

she is pretty fit and strong, but I still want to make it as easy as possible. What pole would you get her. Rule out extremes & I will do all the difficult windows. I was thinking SLX 18 & Extreme Medium Mixed. What do others do?

Hi 8 week, the SLX 18 and the brush you mention will be spot on.. My Mrs used to do a couple of days here and there, (and she's a weed) and had no problems with it..

Don't forget you can pay her 150 odd quid a week without having to deduct anything   ;)

SLX 18 without a doubt.
It's a game of three halves!

Wor Lass is size 8 and is 5' 1" tall.  She swings an SLX 18 around no problems.

But you replied to posts that contained the word 'disappointed' and never said anything. Is it because I is foreign?  ;D

My wife used to use an 11 foot Unger pole which suited her well though she is 5' 10" which gives her an advantage.
Tech has moved on so now it would probably be a CLX 18 or 22.

My daughters come with me now and then  for bit pocket money

one is 13 she uses the 9 clx and extreme 18 she's about 5:1 always a good day as she allways brIngs in the hose reels

My eldest starts a day a week this summer she's about 5:3 until she works our what she wants to do

Extreme 18 makes it as easy as possible small price to pay

Get her a brodex pole,

Only if she's having an affair; just to punish her.
