Hi Shawn

The the middle hole is for pure water out, the out side hole for waste, the other end middle blanked off and the out side water in.

On mine you fit a flow control on the waste to restrict the flow so you get 50% waste 50% pure use two 1ltr jugs and get the to fil at  the same rate.

Shawn

I use 20" fillter housings rather than 10" more through put R/o man I think sell them and so does Sair I think, but I got mine from stream supplies.

As for out put 1000ltrs in just over 3 hours, but it depends on your water preasure, as mine is very high.

Its catch 22, large fillters they last twice as long. But quicker filling, but 10" are cheaper and will do the job, but you will change them more freqently.

wow thats good .... i am glad i got my ro now ... i only paid £70 for it as i got it off a fellow wc who hardly used it.. 300ltrs or so since he had it... even so if the filter last 6 months or so i still paid less for the lot than for a housing alone...

cheers for all your help roy ;)

Does anybody use 2 of these at the same time (4040 ro)? Thinking of getting one soon but would it be worth getting 2 if they shared the same tap/water source?
