Been asked by this customer if I could repoint his patio after cleaning.



how long do you think this area would take and a rough idea of cost??

Any help would be appreciated

You can get some stuff, I forget what it's called but it's about 80-90 quid. You add water, wazz it up, damp down the whole area, tip it out and water broom it in. Anything left on the slabs dries like sand and you just brush it away for a perfect finish.

retired bricklayer and £15 on materials £50 wages and half a day easy money for him.
id expect the moneys already made on patio clean?

Well i did ask a builder my mum uses a lot for jobs and he said 2 days 2 men £120 a day + materials so 480 not including sand & cement!!

Thats why i came on here asking lol

What?

FIL a builder of 30 plus years would do that on his own in around 6 hours,
He uses a gun ( like the ones for silicone tubes etc ) fills the joints then whips over with a brick pointing tool

I would charge the cutomer £350 to clean and point that. 1 hour to clean then 2 of us would point that in a morning with a proper motor mix. I would also guarantee the pointing if we do the cleaning every year.
