John is this the toolbox you used ?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stanley-28-Waterproof-Tool-Box-Seal-Tight-STA193935-1-93-935-/130410213549?pt=UK_Garage_Equipment_Tools_Tool_Boxes_Storage&hash=item1e5d0df0ad

Yes , it was the best one I'd seen in terms of strength for drilling holes and a big size is always easier to mount things in .

What's coming off the bottom of the enforcer at the back John?

Mytee silencer  ...  i included a pair in a box of stuff i got from the states , the other one is in the booster .   I helps remove the annoying higher frequencies . But the enforcer is fairly quiet as is .

Good work John, only time will tell if these modifications are going to be worth it.
To be honest I never run my Enforcer from the van, I always bring it up to the property and use shorter hose lengths so I am happy with the performance of mine.
Nothing wrong with a little experimenting, after all machines are always evolving and we need people like you who think outside the box

Yeah the enforcer goes well in stock form ...  but i couldn't resist a bit of tweaking  . I let you know how i get on with it .

Any chance of a list of parts for the Stanley booster box john?

Hey Dan ,  you know i thought that would be easy ... and then i thought , hey didnt i chop that pipe fitting in half to make it fir ... and didn't i sand the to top off another bit  etc .  So there is an element of ' make it up as u go along to these things ... but il make a list of the essentials  after that u may have to see for yourself whats needed as u make it .
My side port is 1.5 " ... however i decided i would not go under 1.5" at any stage so i use the external part of the 1.5 fittings . It complicated it a little as i had to custom fit bits ... if i'd fitted a hose barb fitting to my 1.5" ports ... the internal diameter at that point would drop to 1 1/4  ... might make no difference whatso ever but i did not want to use them .    A standard 2" machine hose barb is actually 1 3/4 "  internal ... so my 1.5" external overall is not far off that  .  The 2" tank fitting is huge and would have caused fitting and perhaps structural issues so i avoided using that but i do use one for the booster exhaust port for easy fitting to my exhaust hose .  hope that make sense  ;D   Bear with me and il make a list of the main parts .

A Stanley fat max 28" toolbox
12 foot of 16amp wire ( i like the non kink rubber stuff )
some single core 1.5mm wire for the switches and connectiong to motors / earth
Two of ebays finest motors ... or what ever u got
various white 1.5" and 2"  white  plumbing fitting from B&Q  etc
1.5" rubber joiners from plumbing section .

1.5 " tank connector  (one on booster one on enforcer )
http://www.ebay.ie/itm/360709113132?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

2" tank connector i used for the exhaust port
http://www.ebay.ie/itm/360709115771?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

The 90degree on the enforcer
http://www.ebay.ie/itm/231025453512?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

60mm duct hose in booster for exhaust
http://www.ebay.ie/itm/140671550957?var=440037916547&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
two toggle switches , these are the type i used but u can use others
http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Heavy-Duty-120v-240v-15A-20A-Plate-TOGGLE-SWITCH-T701-/320787374347?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ab06ae10b
optional rubber switch covers
http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Toggle-Switch-Rubber-Water-Proof-Cover-10-Pack-Height-16mm-/261075706290?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cc95321b2

Hole saw  ...   the 1.5" tank connector used a 48mm hole saw
i used a 64 on the 2" tank connector
and an 82mm for the motor vent holes .
some long bolts to secure motors

think thats it   :)

You could use these for easy fitting to the 1.5" tank connector ... but i found tham a bit narrow .

Did you test the amp draw with the 2hd vacs John?

amp draw for the two 1400 in the booster tested around 13amps ..

The Enforcer with upgraded vac tested 15amps max with pump running .

Well good luck, just avoid double sockets in conservatories or garages - very often run off a single 13 am spur I have found in the past and not good for more than 10 mins before trip!!

Very impressive John! When you get hold of some meters perhaps you could show us the performance at the end of 100ft of hose.

I have been thinking of doing the same thing with my Airflex Pro Custom as it has the same vac set up but has a ready made booster port. With a double HD + Standard Electro setup it should give around 240" waterlift and 234 CFM. Along with the heater it should give entry level truckmount performance.

Let us know how it gets on on the job.

Interesting stuff, I too would like to see the machine performing, ideally next to a standard one with 100' of hose.
To be honest it's extremely rare for me to use anything more than 75' of hose, but I guess it's nice to know you have the added power there if required.
So adding a booster creates 2 pairs of motors in series similar to the escape, I for one witnessed the Escape at last years TACCA event and it was very powerful... Dare I say... More powerful at the wand than my old prowler

What motors does the mytee escape use? is it just 4 bog standard 5.7's . On a side note has anyone noticed woodbridge used to sell the escape at nearly 8k plus vat and now it's only 4140 plus vat  :o They couldn't have been selling many at the first extortionate price
