What is the best for removing stickers and glue

Hi,

As in the topic. What do you use for removing stickers from variety of washable surfaces?

Contact Tadgh O Shea...he is usually in the hard floor section. He has a product that works well .

What type of stickers ? Are they paper - Ambersil label remover or vinyl -  hair dryer to peel off then label remover or white spirit to remove residue

White spirit, lighter fluid, diesel, petrol will all remove the sticky residue after you have peeled back the sticker

I must remember to take the diesel or petrol into the customers house next time I want to get a sticker off some new marble vanity units got to be better than either of these:

When I strip the lettering off the vans over the years, I've wiped of the residue with petrol...ya southern softies!

I swear it's southerners to blame for over zealous health and safety gone mad! Southerners being anyone south of Mancunia!!

There's a product called sticky stuff remover. Perfectly safe to use indoors and not expensive. You can purchase this in most hardware stores.

Upvc solvent cleaner, works everytime.... sometimes a steam cleaner like a karcher hds etc will peel it off with zero chems needed...  both method depend on the surface though

also have use brake and clutch cleaner in my hay day  ;D

We use oilflo 141. Expensive but nice and easy to use. Smells pleasant too

If its stickers on vehicle then a hairdryer to bubble and remove the stickers & methylated spirits to remove the glue residue.
