ENFORCER !!
« on: May 11, 2014, 09:24:54 pm »
Hi,
I'm now the proud owner of the new Asbys 400psi enforcer. Just had to tell you about it.
I've had a steempro powermax for a few years and admittedly it has served me well.
The Enforcer however has blown me away and made me realise I should have upgraded long before now. To all the guys/gals who are thinking of upgrading to a more powerful machine, as Nike says JUST DO IT !!

Ben.

I have the Ninja Ben, had it 5 years in June...2 new vacs and pump overhaul and that's all it's ever had done....oh did I mention I changed the brushes on both vacs yesterday and they both still work.
Seriously, when I upgrade it will be the Enforcer, if the build quality is anything like the Ninja it will be a steal.
Gave a guy a hand last year who had the Jag...it has some power but tbh the build quality is a bit poor.

The build quality is fantastic , just trying to adjust to the weight difference etc.
But like the ninja a brilliant machine

Lot of minor things Hawks.

No fresh water tank lid.
The top of the machine fits inside the bottom half of the machine, do it the other way round and you won't get water in the engine compartment...got to be very careful filling.
Two pipe stacks in waste tank means poor access to the bottom of the waste tank, and those filters on the stacks, what's all that about....mine has a table tennis ball in a mesh cage which floats up as water rises and eventually blocks the vac intake..simples.
Even the waste gate valve was fitted skewed off centre...first thing I noticed.
Think he had to prime it as well....what's that all about this day and age.

Two pipe stacks means bettrr airflow !  Thats where Extracta fell down with there Exell machine ! 2x 7inch motors but both sucking through one pipe, one hell of a restriction

Stuart - the triple Airflex has one stack (although its big bore) and it sucks like a ten dollar hooker!!

I hated the fact you couldnt dump all the water out of the Scorpion on the gate valve - the rubber bung has to come off the side to get it empty so during a job after emptying you still have a good 6 litres of water in the dirty tank

How more airflow?? Surely the airflow is created by the actions of the wand.

I have various wands but there's no airflow with no machine.

You will have to ask john martin over this one, but if  the airflow is restricted at the motor it seams reasonable to think there would be less overall

I dont know everything   ;D

I think the general trend in the last few years is to make the internal plumbing as non restrictive as possible either by one big bore stack or independent stacks . The filter design on the old excels might have also contributed to restriction , think it was covered in foam .. which would also be prone to clogging a bit .

I have however picked up an Enforcer almost new and i can confirm that it sucks ...  in a good way .
Its a tremendous machine , no need to consider anything else ... (well perhaps the Alltec evolution or the Airflex )
Cant fault the Enforcer really ... i might tweak mine a bit though .

John, enforcer or storm ?

I would hate to call that , iv not had a storm ..
It might depend on your usage or priority's  .
The two vacs and 400psi pump on one cord suits me  .... and i like to have an immersion heater as well as an inline  .

Somebody else might make a case for the storm ... perhaps if you need the bigger pump .  Its just difficult to see a body design better that the Enforcer , and the vacs work well despite not having a thousand cfm on paper ....
I think Glynn here has both ?

Yep but you still need a porty for those jobs you can't get with the truck and as a back up. ;)
