Sounds good bob, IMO leaflet areas/estates on a WEEKLY basis for fantastic results. Time the drops to take place a couple of days before you are working in that area.
Good luck mate!
You deliver leaflets to the same houses on a weekly basis?
Would it not be quicker to knock on their door and sell your service

Knocking, No, far too slow IMO

Err???
Re leafletting week after week to the same house for it to get binned each time or knock once and see if they actualy need a cleaner?? id say the leaflet method each week to the same houses would be the far too slow method.
Grow some balls and sell yourself at the door and canvass and leave a leaflet if they are not home, will save time and build up at a much faster rate.

I try not to participate in leaflet threads as it upsets vince who also hasnt the minerals to knock and sell himself however what you said about door knocking being the slower method against repeat leafletting the same houses over and over each week is simply nuts unless i have read it wrong??.

Mick, stick to knocking! I will stick to leaflets, I will be starting my 4th 'full time' van next month through leaflets alone! Think that's quick enough pal!  8)
Every hour I leaflet brings in 7 jobs on average.
Its not whats on your leaflet its how you leaflet and what standard of clean you do for your local community.
As regards to knocking, I worked for Everest 'Fit the Best' cold calling, my balls are massive!

Totalling £? Per month though David?
Over 9 regular decent customers an hour is certainly a rate neither myself or anyone I know of could achieve. But if you have, hats off!

One of the good things about putting a price on your leaflet as Lee Pryor once explained here and it made sense to me, is that when you get a call then its generally to do the job you aint going out quoting. Obviously it depends upon your local "competition", if your local competition is a couple of rag arses then pricing twice them should be no problem.

Time and time again I tell everyone on here.
ITS ALL ABOUT HOW YOU LEAFLET. NOT HOW MANY YOU PUT OUT!!!!!!!!!!
I could not of achieved those results starting out.
If it was easy everyone would be doing it.
Dedication, ooohhh dedication.

I don't care how good your leaflet is, you cannot replicate this every week over a year. I have put out over 100,000 leaflets and there are some great hit rates but there are some terrible ones too. My record was 23 jobs for 2 hours. Could I get this every 2 hours, no way.

If your cheap Bob, put the prices on. If you're not, no prices and sell yourself at the door when they call.

Thanks for your input too Davids.  I never gamble so its wins all the way. Quick solid growth with very very little drop out rate has meant nothing is a gamble and every day is a good day.
Its not about amounts, its about HOW!
