Can someone do me a favour and go on FB and type in...Buy & Sell & Swap Batley,Heckmondwike,Dewsbury area...and see if you can access the page.......I placed an ad up for approval and since then have been unable to access the site....comes up as page unable to display etc.

So you can see what's on the page though, even though you can't comment on it?
All I get is

"The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may have expired, or you may not have permission to view this page."

I joined on Saturday and was accepted and placed an ad pending approval and since then I haven't been able to get on.

That's what I got till I joined...then I could read the threads....posted an ad for approval and now all I get is the page with the cannot display on it..... when I type the title of it in search box it doesn't even come up

John, was it an advert for your business?  If it was, then some sites only have specific days for business ads.  If a business advert was placed on a non-business day then sometimes the admins get a bit too strict and just ban the person trying to place the ad.  If that isn't the case, then try to message one of the admins.

Yes it was an ad for the business John but it was left pending approval so all they had to do was reject it and let me know the rules of the site.
That's probably the reason though I can't access the site now to speak to admin.
Luckily the S in Law has sent admin message and is awaiting a reply.

yip they might have banned your a55 John. Specially if you have done it a few times.

I was spamming the hell out of a few groups with one of my sites (non carpet cleaning related) and it was quit profitable (those bargain hunters will click anything!) till I got banned

Carpet Dawg....my first post on site...why not just mail me and tell me instead of banning me....there was nothing about ads on the site...besides it's for buying and selling and I'm selling...albeit a service.

yeah some of the sado's are very strike with rules. They are on a power trip.

Totally agree with that Tony. I've even seen some say in their list of rules that their the owner.. Owner of what? a facebook page
