« on: March 27, 2006, 10:43:48 pm »
just interested how much people are paying for 1000 leafletsdelivered in local papers ( either free or paid for)

I am paying £14=50 per thousand plus the Vodka And Tonic  and thats minimum of 5 thousand in Sussex in a free paper

I am unsure if this is expensive.

Regards

David

i would have thought thats a bit expencive ! though i do know the guy who run's the paper boy's & girl's, for the free paper's in my area !
brother used to give him a drink & out they would go, don't think it's the best way by a long shot to get them out although after easter i shall be going to news agents & asking if they can go out in the morning paper's
think for what your paying you could have a good size add in the paper not in service's maybe worth looking into !

Our local free paper was charging £15-50 per 1,000 last year, i think its gone
slightly since then. You had to put out a minimum of 3,000.

that price is about right for inside a free paper with 30 other leaflets.

which is what normally happens with free papers.

hi Mark,
Hope all is well

I have done a few jobs regarding stone- havent really pushed it (down to me not - the weather-interest rate-next doors cat getting a new collar or even Sharon Stone in a new film - just plain old me)

Business is okay but i was glad to see the end of 2005 as it was like trying to play chess whilst blindfolded and your arms tied behind your back!!!! - in fact my most difficult year in over 20 yrs of trading.

I agree about the 30 leaflets per paper - so its looks as if my price is about the norm -

Anymore input would be appreciated

thanks

David

Better to use shiny leaflets then, so they can't use them for toilet paper. ;)

But yes, i know what you mean.

DAVE

DO YOU FIND THE PINK FLYER WORKS JUST AS WELL ON WHITE PAPER, AS IT IS A LOT CHEAPER TO HAVE PRINTED.

SORRY ABOUT THE DELAY

I have never done coloured leaflets -very expensive compared to white and I dont realy follow the pink flyer word for word - i have my own prehistoric printer- i find this the cheapest way of printing- its not a high class finish and can not compete with full colour(the best in my view) but i am not having a costly relationship with a print firm and also supplying 990 coloured toilet paper for every thousand i send out
