golf club carpet
« on: April 23, 2014, 04:29:43 pm »
hello guys and gals. I think i may be loosing my carpet cleaning mojo. Viewed a very good axminster type wool commercial carpet in a top end golf club. Carpet is 4 years old and this would be 1st clean. Carpet is joined every 3 metres some of them not perfectly so. Most of area is to the eyes pretty good, some areas appear to have some slight staining from spilt drinks. I am a t/m but something in me says steady, and perhaps use texatherm l/m so reducing risk of any tightening or shrinkage. Although having had t/therm for some time, while it does a reasonable job on synthetics, im not so sure its great on wools. Any commenyts or corrections or suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Never used a textatherm, but a standard speed rotary on this type of carpet and had excellent results.
Just used fusion clean, spray dunk and rinse bonnet in the usual manner

Use a spotting machine for the stains..

Once you've done a few sq meters you'll be well into it

Hi Edward

(with tongue firmly in cheek)

Just drive(er) on in with your tm.

Iron out all the problem areas.

Put(ter) the areas of concern behind you.

Have a ball.

No Bunk(er)ing off early.

As you're the professional (cc) you can get the first round in at the 19th.

I'm sure you'll have no problems.

If it hasn't been cleaned for 4 years then it will be rotten !
I've just finished my local golf club, very prestigious and not cleaned for 3 years due to budget restrictions.
They couldn't believe how good the carpets looked and how disgusting the waste water was from all areas, especially the bars and restaurant.

Offer to do a demo using HWE, quote for a full restorative clean and show a price for periodic maintenance cleans using low moisture or encap.

Agree with Steve. LM will be too superficial for what is required after four years. Subsequent periodic cleans could be done with LM.
