It does Shaun..... I very rarely have to sell the service, and the only ones that I generally don't get after being contacted, are those that really are price shopping, and after the cheapest... which I am not any more... my prices have quadrupled in the last 3 years since going wholly LM.

Mikes have not gone up much more over the last 11 years

Just Looking at it....... my prices have gone up by about 80% the carpets are about double minus aprox £10 the suite minus £20

Hi Guys

It is incredibly frustrating for those short of work to see others doing work for beer money.

Our industry is virtually zero entry, cheap machine off eBay chuck it in the back of a car, you are a carpet cleaner.

We will never stop that but there are plenty of decent customers out there.

Michelin star restaurants don't target MacDonald's customers and they do very well.

I have spoke to a few carpet cleaners working in big cities recently and they have all said that it's being saturated in those areas by Eastern Europeans working for absolute peanuts and it has had a massive affect on work coming in. 

Not happened in my area yet thankfully.
