So can you claim the cost of personalised plates against tax?

Simon.

Yes you can, but it has to be on a company vehicle and subject to tax when sold
( unless it's changed in the last year or so )

Danny, sorry this is off topic, but when I searched your web i got loads of spam advisor/ fake website stuff come up, are you aware of this ?

Pesonally I can't see the point in WFP on a van number plate, it means nothing to the public or our customers, all it would impress is other window cleaners.

I'm sure the police are quite happy with that spacing ;D

There's a particular copper round our way that seems to follow my Mrs.
He stopped her 3 times in a year for the spacing of our plate.
I can't see the problem with spacing myself, adjusting the letters, yes. But not changing the spacing.
When he actually fined us, he came round and wrote the ticket out.
He said it was 'for our benefit' cause if someone nicked the car, the ANPR camera's wouldn't be able to read the plate and therefore find the car.
I said: 'how did you find us then?'
He fumbled his words and went on his way.
Personally, I think the police have got better things to be doing...

Having a WFP plate is pointless IMHO. But it was a bargain and other vans have B16 plates. So why not eh!?

I don't think we have any anpr equipped fuzz mobiles around here.. I've been using that plate for nearly 3 years and haven't been stopped.

Or they HAVE got better things to do!

Not sure if it is a legitimate expense?

There was in fact 2 times I wish it was a mr2......when it needed servicing and almost every other day when I'd be in the petrol station!!!!
