vinyl wraps and signwriting
« on: April 17, 2014, 10:44:01 pm »
ive finally sorted my signwriting out with the designer.im getting the back van doors vinyl wrapped in glossy black with blue window logo and bullet points listing my other services.solar panels,UPVC cleaning and conservatory roofs.the sides of van will be standard black livery with name, window cleaning, phone no and est 1993 plus blue window logo.

everything matches my business cards and tickets now.i even have my return address labels for envelopes in black with window logo!! ;D

im hoping they ll be able to fit me in next week or the week after.the thing is my van has to be kept warm and dry overnight so they can apply the vinyl and 8 hours after they ve finished!so more days lost and im crammed with work over the next 3 weeks! ::)roll ;D

its costing me just over £500 including VAT.

ill put some pics up when all done lads. ;)

is it normal to wait a while to get it done?as its been nearly 2 weeks since i first enquired about it and im just at the stage when they ve given the go ahead to print the design!

very best wishes to you all

Is it printed vinyl or cut?

Printed will normally take sign writers longer from my experience as they will often outsource the print job to another firm. Where as plain vinyl sticker can normally be done fast as most sign writers have a supply of vinyl and the cutting machines in house.

Depends how busy they are as well.

Simon.

Mine was printed on the vinyl then wrapped and then sign written after. (3 layers of sign writing) silver on black and then that on white.

500 hundred pounds is a fair price to pay , and its normal to wait for them as there a lot of work cutting out signs from bigger sheets of vinyl , our wraps are running around 3k +vat mark so your getting a deal what kind of warranty you getting ours have 5 years on them
