cant beat old school windies
« on: April 15, 2014, 07:01:21 pm »
What's wrong with some window cleaners these days, can't acknowledge you when u nod , can't reply when u shout over to pass the time of day, give you dirty looks if your vans shinier than theirs, and if there's two of them in a van or cleaning  in same street they chat to each other and laugh like little girls......they either jealous arseholes or feel really threatened by little old me....I've been cleaning windows for 30 yrs now and never known windies wiv attitudes like some........I go to work smiling and come home tired and smiling - what's their problem!!  ;D
dont crap on people on theway up,you might meet um on the way down...

trying having two vans in one road and another turns up  ::)roll

We heard all the jokes and *&&^&^ taking about why we had two vans in one road. Why not work from one van he said about 10 times as loud as he could.

I can tell you one thing for sure, the lad who was was with me did NOT use the free gift from Gardiner to cut his hose and then leg it lmao.

i can remember how important it was for me to get waved at by the old pros when i first started to boost my confidence , only 1 or 2 waved back
these days if i get ignored several times when i wave or nod  to another cleaner  , i go for the jugular
took a whole loada work from an old scrote who ignored me and i bleve he may have gone under .  happy days!

You can't talk to some of the shiners round our way as they don't even talk English, just put their thumb up to you' at the end of the day there's more windows than window cleaners plenty of work for everyone
A bad days fishing is better than a good days work !

I learned to do this job on Victorian '3-decker' London schools.  Does this make me an Old school old school window cleaner? ;D

Trad guy came over to me a couple of years ago and shook my hand.

"Congratulations," He said

"What's for?"

"You're the first bloke with a van and all that kit I've ever seen actually cleaning a house."

Just out of interest pure h20 why would you have 2 vans cleaning on the same street??
It does sound a bit odd.
