How often do you replace jets on wand?
« on: April 14, 2014, 12:39:34 pm »
My trigger assembly went on my 2 jet S-bend wand today (Westpack i think) and i am going to order a new kit but was wondering whether to also order a couple of new jets as well, mine seem to be working fine but being brass i'm assuming they do wear over time, so how often do people replace and also would it be worth replacing filters at same time?  Jets are 80015

I personally do not replace the brass jets a good soak in de-scaler  seems to do the trick every now and again. The valves will also last for many years and the only thing that requires changing over a period of time is the o rings.

haven't changed anything on mine for 4 years now...just clean filters weekly.

Hi Richard

Your jets are a bit odd for a 2 jet. 8015's are too small, have you tried 11002 or 11003? These would be far more suited to a 2 jet as the angle would reach the sides and they would flush the carpet better.

Do you find it slow going on your current ones? (which are really for a 4 jet).

Sorry Kevin, my mistake should have put 11015 which come as standard with this wand according to Cleansmart website. :)

Think i was looking up on jets on forums and copied the 80015 in error.

I always like to clean a strip of dirty concrete with my wand when I get the chance, sometimes I will fire the jets outside the front door to get the hot water through before I start cleaning. You can see the condition of your jets when you do this, especially how even they are spraying.
