I actually know a fair bit about their kit. Back on OP, try A-Plan. They're pretty good.

If you do "need" a 4x4 - which you don't, then it is pretty much agreed across the planet that the best 4x4 mass production is the range rover.
Currently I'm driving a 52 plate golf 4motion v6. Usually I drive Defenders.
I've only had it a fortnight. It'll be gone by next weekend. Best car I've ever owned was a 2007 range rover sport. Incredible machine but too much money to run. Think I might get myself a range rover again - probably an older p38. A V8 maybe.
