« on: March 26, 2006, 02:52:48 pm »
HI ALL,

I HAVE TAKEN ON SOME MORE STAFF , SO IT TIME TO DO THINGS  THE CORRECT WAY, THE GIRLS WERE ON SELF -EMPLOYED BASIS BUT SOME PEOPLE WOULD DISAGREE WITH ME TAKING THEM ON AS S/E.

SO ANYWAY, NEED TO CHANGE THEM OVER TO PAYE, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHICH IS THE FIRST STEP TO STARTING THIS PROCESS.

A GREY AREA I KNOW BUT SOME ONE MUST KNOW ABOUT IT!!

Hi Denise,

Just to clarify are you looking to run your own payroll, or looking for info re dealing with paye for inland revenue purposes.

If its the 1st option there are many software packages out there which will enable you to run paye everyone has their preference.

If its hye 2nd option then contact your tax office they will send you a yellow booklet for you to make payments for ni and tax on a monthly basis. I think the 19th of each month is the latest date to make payment ofr the previous months liability.

Cheers Mark.

I have just contacted them couple of days ago. I think they would cover the whole UK, as long as PAYE is the same in England & Welsh, Scotland and NI.
