I use a Meguires DA with the attachments from carsmetic they fit right on to most DA polishers.

I have white and yellow rota brush working with battery drill.
Good to have to batteries, one always is charging in the van to be ready for use.

I'm looking for something similar if anyone can suggest something.

Would it not be best to use a normal drill rather than a battery powered one? saves faffing abouting wit multiple batteries.

battery one is just more comfortable, you will no need to use more then 2 batteries  a day, unless realy a lot of commercial job to do
today i did 2 sets of upholstery, draught marks in one room and was changing battery twice (one half charged, full charged and third time maybe used a half of power)

dual action polisher is too noisy, have one for car polishing and would not use it inside

I thought the maguires orbital was rubbish it just shook about I think a drill with its constant turning action would be better with a buffing pad on it I don't think you need a brush.

but not a patch on the other two ie the orbit micro and the cyclo! If I was to buy somthing like this I will probably go for the cyclo it has six speeds , that thing you brought a link to I imagne runs to fast to be safetly used un upholstery and thats what  i would used it for mainly

Way too fast, I would have thought, 2500 rpm minimum, lots of unwanted friction and heat build-up.

I Have and do use the Meguires V2 Da also the Autosmart smarttool (twin head) on Uphol & Leather with no problems you can stop them while running with your hand, used the stiffer brushes on car uphol.Ther is a vid about From Russ Chadd using on a car uphol might be on youtube

The kestrel and the meguires ones are variable speed, well my ones are anyway, i have been using them to do car upholstery for quite some time with no issues, i have yet to take the step of using it on someones suite though, I just feel it would look better with the clyco or minitex, I would have a heart attack if someone turned up at my home and got a DA polisher out on my suite...

iv'e used it no problem on low setting it doesn't feel too fast and i don't go ott on anything it works a treat and don't apply too much pressure.

I certainly wouldn't be happy using it on a customers £5000 three piece thats for sure, if it had been 250-400 rpm I would of taken the chance on some upholstery but two thousand ! Think you are just asking for trouble
