Taski ergodisc 238 175 rpm,
At the moment I use the Oreck orbitor for domestic agitation.

This is for agitation purposes only, could anybody point me in the right direction for the correct
Brush/pad/bonnet.
To use with this machine, For agitation on domestic usage.
Links to your recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks Paul

Everything has its purpose and a rotary is not the best tool for agitation despite many people using them. Rather than lift and open the pile they flatten it and will only be agitating a percentage of the pile surface from one direction. Crbs are a far more effective tool and a lot easier and practical to use in domestic situations.
If you are going to go down than road then a brush would probably be the better option. As said there are things that they will do that a crb wont so it is always an advantage to have both.
If you saw the crud that a crb brings out of the pile you would understand what is being said very quickly.

Good machines these, but as Peter say's they may not be the best for domestic jobs and probably a bit over kill. I have a few of these machines but have only used them on 3 really minging lounge jobs. You could get a shampoo brush but I'd be wary of using it on domestics except for the last resort type cleans you get on a end of tenancy cream filthy living room jobs. A shampoo brush will come in handy on commercials and pubs ect. These guys had thousand of Taski Ergodiscs at one stage, not sure how many now, but they will probably sell shampoo brush's ( I think a Taski has a different fitting drive board or shampoo brush to a normal rotary machine )- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TASKI-438-Ergodisc-Floor-Polisher-Scrubber-15-/310919596137?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4864408869  Make sure they don't sell you a hard scrubbing brush though as they sent me once though! I also use red pads on commercial, but again I would probably not use them on domestic.

I have used one of these bonnets on a domestic for agitation in the past - http://www.restormate.co.uk/epages/15094.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15094/Products/1455
Not made for the job but it worked a treat.
I agitated with one side of the pad, then extracted, then post bonneted with the other side of the pad.

These pads can be used for agitation but I have never used one on a domestic job - http://www.restormate.co.uk/epages/15094.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15094/Products/0002k

and these are ok for post bonneting but not great on commercials I have found. - http://www.restormate.co.uk/epages/15094.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15094/Products/RS000

But tbh having said all that I would stick with the Oreck orbitor on most domestic jobs  ;)
