Bloody Hellfire

Quoted a couple of drives this morning, got one no problem. The other one (imprinted concrete)  i'm in the middle of measuring up when she says already had a price from the guys who laid it, said they would do it for £200 cash - 75sqm cleaned and resealed. I replied so you want steak but want to pay for burgers  ::)roll

im just a newbie but would you not price that the same as a patio which maybe im too low at £2.50 a sq/m

I was stunned too, going by say Smartseal gear at retail works at £80ish for the cleaning. I know the company that laid the stuff and they are going about telling people not to let professional driveway cleaners near it with a pressure washer as it will ruin it making out they have to be the ones to maintain. Funny thing is i've seen the pressure washer they use, i might use it to clean my van  ;D

Still not bad at £200 it will cost about £70 to do and 2 hours work so £65 per hour aint that bad.
