Hi jack firstly good luck on the new business. Best thing you can do is read back through the pages on this section. I spent the whole of Wednesday night reading back all the way to page 30 and picked up some great tips.

I'm quite new so not got loads of advice but here is a couple of checklists
- check out you tube it's a great learning tool of what to do and not to do
- tap/hose pipe connections
- squeegee, soft brush, hard brush, shovel, hose pipe
- turbo nozzle, vario nozzle
- always remember to wash down
- get a really good diesel/ petrol pressure washer
- sort out your prices, web site, business cards, flyers
- only do drives that slope towards the road lol (only joking)

If it is you and this is your Facebook account you need to look at methods and or pick the brains of the people like Chris, who use chemical assistance, to get a better end product.

The machine you are using is not cutting all the way through the algae & moss.

We aren't putting you down. What we can do is point you in the direction you should be going in by knowing a bit more about you.

The kit you have is what you have at the moment. Don't run before you can walk but as the business develops upgrade your kit. Don't ignore the website.

The only thing I will say is that if you want to be in a better position then you need to be better than the competition. That won't be easy round your way as you are in Lee (Blastaway), Lee (Kenny) and Simons and a couple of other peoples area. So let that be the reason to improve it because these lads are good!!

What I would be doing would be asking one of the lads if I could offer my services (labour) - free of charge to help them out and you will learn more in one shift than you can read on here.

My advise is build good relationships with customers, once I get a customer my aim is to do everything to keep them happy. Price them competitively, make them feel there getting value for money and allways talk about your next visit. I allways say next year when were here it will probably cost you less because your one of my regular customers now. But it never is!
