As above guys ,have trawled the archives but to no avail so thought one of you kind gents /ladies may be able to help .I do a school on a regular basis which I got through someone I knew and wanted to start doing a few more commercial sites ie other schools ,hotels etc and would be nice to have some ideas re an introduction letter .Thanks in advance people .

I haven't got one - but the reason you're not getting much response is probably because many of us spend a lot of time, effort (and money) on marketing, and people are reluctant to give this hard earned knowledge away too easily.

If you wrote one yourself and published on here I'm sure you'd get some constructive responses.

Or pay a copyrighter to do it (e.g. have to tried fivesquids.co.uk etc?)

Order ten of them from different people on fiverr. Some will be crap some will be good but you can then pick the best bits from all of them

There were a few floating around a while ago but having trawled the site I cant seem to find them .One guy did have one and was unindated with people asking for it also ,perhaps that is why people are reluctant .

Yes some pay for this information and some are just very good at things like that but they are more than happy to share or give advise to fellow posters .

Yes probably my best bet is if I get a professional but unless you ask you never know and thats what a forum is for .

People are readily giving information all the time on here about business and the best way etc etc which may have also cost them time and money over the years but are more than happy to help out .

its hard work, dont do it until you have staff. more profit in homes and much easier work. find new way to get more of this type of work. there will be carpet cleaners in your area cleaning carpets in homes that your not. so ask why are you not cleaning these carpets. then you will start to find new approaches. i meet a guy this week that gets 12 calls/emails a day from one of these trade recommendation sites.

I have done some research and the big complaints is from the customers that have bad experiences is that that have a vested interest in keeping the tradesman happy and from the trades is that they dont really understand ROI

In any new marketing or selling media you need to go thought the pain. and that means the expense of learning the ROI. getting you numbers in line for each is hard as you may need to adjust you price or look at different way to price like packages or bundles.

sorry mate but I definately do not aggree there is more proffit in domestic homes !  When I clean on commercial jobs my hourly rate goes through the roof, far more profitable than any domestic job ive ever done, I average about £55 per hour on domestic work but more than double that figure on all of my commercial maintenance cleans  some times three times that figure

Ian many thanks for your reply .I think you misunderstood my initial post sorry should have made myself clearer.
I do a small amount of commercial contracts which have been through word of mouth if you like,along with my mainly domestic market but would like to put out a few introduction letters to perhaps get into the commercial side a bit more .
Was a long shot but like I say you dont get help unless you ask .
